Board meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday of the month.

March 2010

To all AHS members and friends,

We have had some changes on the AHS Board this past winter and we would like to thank George Cornwall, Nancy Kalafarski and Stanley Smith for stepping in and helping out.

The AHS Board Members (through Sept-2010): Bettyna Donelson, Janice Hebb, Nancy Kalafarski, Sallie Thoma, Ryan McGuane, George Cornwall and Stanley Smith. Elections shall be held at the Annual Meeting in September 2010.

Our focus this year is the assessment of the needed Meeting House roof and basement repairs as well as and an exhibit at the Meeting House, “Made in Ashburnham, Then and Now”. This exhibit will include items from our collection of older businesses in Ashburnham, as well as highlighting the cottage industries and local businesses of today. The exhibit, as well as a “Roof Raffle“, (made up of locally made items), will be available for viewing “Summer Saturdays ‘ in June, July and August, 9-12noon. We are looking for donations of Ashburnham-made items for the “Roof Raffle”, as well as residents interested in showing some of their wares, with some space for promotional materials.

Please support Ashburnham’s Meeting House and the repair projects needed for this historic building by becoming a member, attending our membership meetings, visiting the Meeting house or making a donation! We need your support for this project: time, knowledge or energy!
